Terms of Services for SCIP New and Existing Members plus All Community Users

By signing up as a SCIP Member (new or existing), or using this SCIP Website scip.world, you are confirming that you a have read and understood our terms and conditions published at the Membership section and elsewhere to acknowledge that SCIP is not liable for any financial losses, damages and confusion arising from your membership or any other kind of engagement with SCIP. Here are the specific Terms and Conditions (T&C) for new and existing SCIP Members plus other users of SCIP Services.

1. Providing Correct and Verified Information

SCIP Members and scip.world website users must provide accurate, complete and current information. Be responsible for all subsequent changes, updates, upgrades and any other modifications made in their profile,payment method as well as any form of engagement with SCIP. Ultimate responsibility for placing data and digital assets on SCIP website is YOURS. We expect you to do your best by providing accurate and most current data to reap maximum benefits by using SCIP digital platform and that of its third parties for your business development, education, networking, training and sharing goals.

2. Refund

As a policy, all memberships have an annual cycle for deeper engagement in terms of your learning journey, access of resources and business development. There no provision for ad-hoc membership cancellation, leading to refunds before the expiry of the current payment cycle. For any compelling circumstances, you may email info@scip.world to review your case with no assurance of refund unless, we contact you to update on your case. Payments for events, courses or training programs are non- refundable. However, if the event, course program is cancelled, we adjust it with a matching future program. We are also open to adjusting your paid tickets and forms of payments with future events, sessions and programs if you miss the live session for some compelling reasons and also in case you let us know well in advance (typically one month).

3. Privacy Policy and Disclaimer

While we make every attempt to implement all standard measures confirming to GDPR (The General Data Protection Regulation of the EU) and other applicable regulations, we shall be glad to receive feedback on additional modes of data protection and privacy as things evolve around the globe. Investment in robust technology and best practices tools are being made for privacy and data protection including our payment gateways. We deploy internationally recognized payment gateways like Stripe and cloud platforms of proven credibility. SCIP as non-profit does not sell data to third parties for commercial gains, direct or indirect monitory benefits. Only exception is partial information shared with our sponsors and partners as a part of specific arrangements for community benefit, education and promotion. All data and disclosures by SCIP members and the community at large are only used for the intended SCIP operations with the ultimate focus on education, promotion and creating vibrant networking forums. Despite all our measures and safeguards in place, SCIP and its employees, dedicated contractors,consultants and board members are in no way responsible for unfounded data breaches or systemic leakages or breakdown in our privacy and security provision or for that matter, any attack by hackers or other unmanageable virus threats to our security walls. While using SCIP website and all its services online and onsite, all our users understand and acknowledge that SCIP depends on several verified and unverified third-party platforms as well as vendors, who collaborate with us to provide services to our members and the community at large. In case of any data breach or privacy compromise at these third-party platforms and vendors, SCIP is no way responsible for financial or other losses and damages of any kind.

4. Fees and Payments

All fees and payments are published on our website, various promotional collateral or through our multiple communication channels. If you have any questions, contact us immediately at info@scip.world. SCIP is in no way responsible for payment errors, information gaps, or what is construed as miscommunication though we do our best to clearly communicate all prices, discounts, benefits and payment information for members and users.

5. Termination and Suspension

SCIP reserves the right to suspend or terminate membership or usage of its services for violations of any policies, guidelines, terms and conditions (T&C). You are advised to be acquainted with these policies, guidelines and T&C. All memberships are on annual basis and SCIP won’t allow ad-hoc cancellation unless there are any compelling circumstances. For all corporate members, substitution of an employee or a representative is allowed if the current person is no longer with company and the company communicates to SCIP about assigning a new person with requisite details to substitute those no longer available. SCIP IS A NON-PROFIT DRIVING COMMUNITY MOVEMENT WORLD-WIDE TO DEMOCRATIZE ITS INTELLIGENCE PLATFORM. OUR SOLE PURPOSE IS TO SERVE THE COMMUNITY AT LARGE THROUGH DEDICATED CHANNELS AND PLATFORMS TO EDUCATE, COLLABORATE, TRAIN AND GROW THEIR SCOPE OF ACTIVITIES, BUSINESSES AS WELL AS LEARNING HORIZON.
